1. Enrollment and Registration

• All students must complete the registration process before attending classes.
• Parents/guardians must provide accurate information about the student's age, skill level, and any special needs.
• Payment must be made in full or according to the selected payment plan before the start of the term.
• We reserve the right to refuse enrollment to any student without explanation.

2. Fees and Payments

• Fees are payable in advance for the entire term or as per the selected payment plan.
• A late fee of ₹200 will be charged for payments received after the due date.
• Returned checks will incur a ₹500 penalty fee.
• Fees are non-transferable between students.

3. Attendance and Punctuality

Regular attendance is crucial for student progress. Please notify us in advance if your child will be absent.

• Make-up classes may be available at the discretion of the instructor.
• Consistent tardiness may result in the student missing important instruction.
• Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted to class.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 7 days or more before the term starts will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the term starts will receive a 50% refund.
• No refunds will be given after the second class of the term.
• In case of academy cancellation, a full refund or credit will be issued.

5. Student Conduct

We maintain a positive, respectful learning environment. Students are expected to:

• Respect instructors, staff, and fellow students
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Use appropriate language and behavior
• Care for academy property and equipment

The academy reserves the right to dismiss any student whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe without refund.

6. Health and Safety

• Parents must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs.
• Students should not attend class when ill to prevent spreading illness.
• In case of emergency, we will attempt to contact parents/guardians immediately.
• Parents are responsible for ensuring their child is picked up promptly after class.

7. Media Release

SPM Chess Academy may take photos/videos of students for promotional purposes. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please notify us in writing.

8. Liability

SPM Chess Academy is not responsible for:

• Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
• Injuries sustained during class, except those caused by our negligence
• Changes to scheduled classes due to circumstances beyond our control

9. Program Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Change instructors when necessary
• Combine or cancel classes due to low enrollment
• Modify the curriculum as needed

10. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Personal information will:

• Be used only for academy purposes
• Not be shared with third parties without consent
• Be stored securely
